Post 13: Good Friday in Enna

We considered going to Caltanisetta this morning, but decided to have quiet day in Enna instead. We window shopped jewelry and decorator stores, shopped for groceries, meats and wine in a wonderful little street we discovered where there are a bunch of small grocery stores, a fish shop, a couple of butcher, and some great produce shops, with multicolored cauliflowers:

Rachel got a manicure in a tiny Beauty Shop off the main square:

We thought at first we would have pizza on the Town terrace with a view, but the sun went away, so we ended up having a picnic in our room, and took a nap waiting for the Processions to begin.
Of course, the processions are not going to begin until tomorrow, because I got a day ahead of myself.  We went out a while ago to see the big Procession, and things looked awfully calm in town for such a big day. We finally asked, and they said looking at us funny: "What Procession? There are no Processions today, it's to morrow".
Stupid me has been thinking all day this was Friday, and Rachel did't even notice... We could have gone on a drive somewhere! We could have gone to the Circus at 5:30 if only I had come to my senses earlier... Well.
